Kizawa Shoten Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Kizawa Corporation, has been working on the development of many large-scale commercial facilities. We would like to introduce some of them.
Green Walk Tama
Hachioji Tokyo
Green Walk Tama is a large commercial facility located near Minami Osawa Station on the Keio Line, west of Tokyo downtown. More than 20 years ago, this area, which was a commuter town in Tokyo, had a huge unsold land after the burst of the bubble economy, and it was a big headache for the UR Urban Renaissance Agency. Kizawa Shoten planned an open mall, which was at that time rare in Japan, to solve the problems of the UR Urban Renaissance Agency. In 2007, we opened a large-scale commercial facility with a land area of 86,352 m2, a building of 68,561 m2, and a parking lot of 2,100 cars, attracting more than 30 tenants.
LuRaRa Kohoku
Kohoku Yokohama
Located in Kohoku Ward, Yokohama City, LuRaRa Kohoku is a large commercial facility boasting a land area of 12,678 m2, a building area of 58,989 m2, and a parking lot of 620 cars. Twenty years ago, Nippon Tochi Tatemono Co., Ltd. (currently Chuo Nittochi Group Co., Ltd.) received advice from Kizawa Shoten when entering the development of large-scale commercial facilities. Until then, Nippon Tochi Tatemono was mainly engaged in office building development and did not develop commercial facilities. The plan went smoothly and the facility opened in 2008.
The Redevelopment Project of JR Tachikawa Station North Exit
This project was to build a 32-story commercial and high-rise residential building in a redevelopment area. The site was formerly known as the Dai-ichi department store at the north exit of JR Tachikawa Station. The redevelopment was completed in 2015, and Yamada Denki LABI LIFE SELECT Tachikawa opened. In this redevelopment, Kizawa Shoten, the predecessor of Kizawa Corporation, played the key role to convince Inageya Co., Ltd., the owner of the former Dai-ichi department store, to sell the land, and the landowner to allow Yamada Denki to be an anchor tenant in the commercial area.
